How the Job fits in
The Workforce Development (WFD) and Talent Acquisition Specialist supports a diverse array of responsibilities across the Workforce Development and Recruiting functions. This position provides day to day support to the Workforce Developments Managers interfacing with internal and external contacts and resources to progress projects and initiatives, conduct industry outreach, and support of INEOS led workforce development programs and initiatives. Additionally, this role supports the talent acquisition efforts through, college campus recruiting, requisition management, candidate pre-screening, pre-hire processes, and onboarding. This role also assists with projects and ad hoc needs of the Workforce Development function or broader HR department.
Additionally, the WFD and Talent Acquisition Specialist provides a wide array of administrative support including, learning management system administration, invoice processing, meeting and event coordination, and additional duties as required.
This position will be a public facing position through recruitment activities, industry events and organizations, local college job fairs, and interaction with INEOS vendors and service providers as well as internal client groups at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a skilled, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Support of Workforce Development function
- Coordinate workforce development programs, learning initiatives, mentoring programs, internships, apprenticeships, and leadership development activities
- Develop understanding of strategic goals of the Workforce Development function and how to best support partnerships with schools, colleges, workforce boards, industry associations, and community organizations
- Participate in industry events (as guest, host, facilitator, or participant) representing INEOS to build future talent pipelines
Experienced hire sourcing and talent pipeline development
- Coordinate with HR Advisors to understand staffing needs of client groups and required profile of ideal candidates for frequently recruited positions
- Utilize Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter to source, screen, and manage candidate lifecycle for multiple requisitions concurrently
- Facilitate post-offer process including but not limited to initiating background check, coordinating pre-hire drug screens, receiving and organizing candidate documentation, scheduling and conducting new hire orientation
- Make effort to continuously review and improve the recruitment process
College Campus Recruiting and Summer program
- Oversee internal College Recruiting Program by developing annual program timeline and event schedule, ensuring sufficient recruiter participation, plan and execute super recruiting events, receive recruiter feedback, facilitate summer intern selection process, and execute Summer Intern Program and Year 1events
- Collaborate with HR Advisors to obtain annual college recruiting targets, facilitate summer intern selection process, and prepare graduate offers
- Coordinate with college campuses to stay informed on career fair and recruiting event schedules and maintain appropriate level of participation for each campus
- Liaise with program participants and sponsors to continually refine quality of program and events
Administrative Support
- Act as administrator for various internal and external learning management systems to perform maintenance, assist users, maintain user access, run reports, and launch courses
- Provide administrative support to HR and Workforce Development Leadership
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and meeting materials
- Receive and process invoices using SAP and tracking of department expenses
- Schedule facilities and meals/arrangements as needed to WFD events
Required Knowledge and Skills
Level of education & Experience in general
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Workforce Development, Education, or a related field is required
- 3 or more years of experience in Administration, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Workforce Development, Learning & Development, or related functions
- Experience in professional or college recruiting strongly preferred
- Experience using Workday is strongly preferred
Technical skills
- Knowledge of talent acquisition and recruiting practices, including resume screening, candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Compliance Training Systems including training assignments, completion tracking, reporting and user support.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis, reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry
