Job Duties
Lead and support financial performance tracking and optimization of cost
structure for the assets. Work with the feedstock and product schedulers in
troubleshooting, validating, and variance analysis of the CBW material balance
by using computational tools (e.g. Aspen). Lead various monthly material
accounting closing activities requiring interaction with feedstock and product
schedulers, pipeline, commercial, and 3rd party groups within and outside CBW.
Represent the operations team on capital projects and serve as project leader on
small projects. Act as Site gas turbine, site boiler and HRSG (Heat recovery
steam generator) expert. Act as Site turbine emission tuning expert to improve
Cogen environmental performance and reliability. Lead PHA and develop
solutions to close process safety gaps. Support operator training. Support
Operations during inclement weather. Support operations and maintenance
during turnarounds. Spearhead improvement of environmental performance and
reliability of steam generators.
Job Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering,
mechatronics engineering or a related field and 48 months of experience in the
job offered or a process engineer-related occupation.
