I'm Björn and as Senior Manager I lead the Supply Chain Engineering & Customs team within INEOS Automotive. We produce the extraordinary INEOS Grenadier! Built on purpose.
I am looking for a Transport Network Data, Design, Monitoring and Optimisation Lead (m/f/d) to join my team who is as exceptional as our company.
"Extraordinary! - that is also the reason why I work at INEOS Automotive:
As a scale-up company, it is never boring at our company, but always challenging.
We live in a dynamic environment that is still evolving and that we are constantly developing. So every day there is the opportunity to learn more and implement more in a much shorter time than in a more established environment. We also live true internationality here through the many people who work with us from different cultures and professional backgrounds.
And one thing is particularly important to us - little politics - lots of team spirit!
What makes our job so exceptional?
In a nutshell:
We are a small, execution-strong team, with little bureaucracy and quick decisions. Because INEOS Automotive is a young company, we don't follow well-trodden paths, but can adopt the latest market trends and technologies. We don't just talk about innovative, new ideas for transport optimisation and transport cost reduction, we put them into practice
For the deeper insight:
The task is to design and optimise the transport network across all supplier connections for production materials and all transport modes and to coordinate the implementation of the relevant parameters in the operational areas. In doing so, it is important for us to fulfil all aspects and KPIs around occupational safety, costs, efficiency, quality and the environment.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for the design of the inbound transport flow for production materials and responsible for the design of a stable, high-quality and cost-efficient transport network.
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation and optimisation of the transport network with all operational areas (material planning, transport operations, etc.).
- Handover of the transport network to purchasing and logistics service provider management for tendering the required routes and freight rates.
- Management of specific projects to optimise the transport network (introduction of intermodal transport, consolidation of international freight, etc.) or optimisation of the inbound supply chain (e.g. CO2 reduction; track & trace).
- Responsible for estimating and calculating inbound costs (freight, customs, handling) for supplier nominations, engineering changes or other relevant business case scenarios.
- Responsible for the implementation of all relevant inbound planning parameters (inbound transport master data) in the respective systems.
What we are looking for:
- Diploma or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or comparable technical education.
- 3+ years of experience (Tier 1 automotive supplier, automotive manufacturer, packaging supplier etc).
- Experience in planning, optimisation and implementation of transport networks.
- Strong project management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS-Office, MS-Power BI, ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA desirable), transport network analysis software (e.g. 4flow Vista).
- Prioritization, time management and analysis skills.
- Good english skills, and german as an advantage, but not mandatory.
