We're looking for a Technical Clerk to join the INEOS Acetyls team. We need highly motivated individuals who want to be part of our growing business. You will be based at the Hull site, which is the largest producer of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and ethyl acetate in Europe. The products we produce are essential building blocks used in almost every industry, including renewable power, automotive, pharmaceuticals, coatings and textiles.

Hull is also home to the business's global Technology Development and Support Team and is based on the 370-acre Salt End Chemicals Park - a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses at the heart of the UK's energy estuary.

The Opportunity

As the Technical Clerk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of inspection work, supporting the Inspection team in the delivery of their objectives.

Key accountabilities

  • Preparation of Inspection & NDT work packs
  • Updating Inspection Database Management System
  • Updating Document Management System with Inspection Reports
  • Updating of Inspection SharePoint

About you

We are looking for someone who is competent in using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Access, Teams, SharePoint, Power Bi, Power Apps. Experience of Inspection Database Management Systems and SAP would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships based on trust and honest discussion. You will be open to continuously learning and developing yourself and will respond to challenges with resilience and reason. Excellent organisational and time management skills are also key to this role as well as someone who is proactive in their approach.
