Job Title: Team Lead Planning & Business Support (m/f/d)
Location: Geel (on site)

The Position

As the current job holder is progressing to a new role within the company, we are currently looking for an experienced Team Lead Planning & Business Support (m/f/d). In this role, you will lead the planning of our European feedstock and finished goods supply chain with an annual volume of approximately 2.5 million tons. You ensure continuous production while balancing cost, service and inventory performance. Acting as a key interface between production, product management, sales and logistics, you drive operational excellence and supply reliability.

Tasks:

  • Lead and elevate a team of 4 planning professionals, creating clarity, accountability and performance focus
  • Manage inbound feedstock and outbound finished product planning to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery
  • Optimize stock levels, working capital and logistics costs while safeguarding service levels (OTIF)
  • Act as escalation point in case of supply disruptions, operational incidents and force majeure situations
  • Closely coordinating with production and customer services, align supply chain planning with plant operations and customer demand
  • Provide scenario analysis and forward-looking insights that influence mid-term supply chain strategy
  • Leading the team’s responsibility for all invoicing‑related activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and smooth end‑to‑end execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in operational planning, scheduling or supply chain management
  • Leadership experience in a complex, high-volume operational environment
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical strength with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic setting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Flemish; additional European languages are considered an advantage
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (6 weeks per year) and duty escalation rotation (30% of the year)
