ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

As a TAR Scheduler you will develop, monitor and update detailed TAR plans. You will also develop and apply common programme coding structures across future TARs.

Key accountabilities

  • Ensure all planned work is on the TAR Execution Plan (TEP). All activities and resources are included.
  • This role will maintain consistency of planning/scheduling approach across all TARs and deliver accurate forecasting of INEOS and 3rd Party resource demand.
  • The amount of Workpacks will range from 400-2500 to be scheduled for each TAR.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with the other planner/schedulers in the TAR planning/scheduling team.
  • Accountable for the delivery of effective TAR programmes.
  • Accountable for ensuring the timely development of plans/programmes to the level of detail required for efficient/effective scheduling of resources, services, etc. Working with the workpack planners, engineering and operations team ensure all activities are defined, accurate and deliverable.
  • Be able to clearly identify and articulate the TAR critical path(s) – what are the key milestone dates, risks and any contingencies already included.                                              
  • Monitor programme execution and update programme for progress.
  • Attend and actively participate in TAR progress meetings to extract information for updating programmes.
  • Accountable for ensuring contractor planning/scheduling are realistic and deliverable.

Please note this role will include some periods of inconvenience to support planned and unplanned plant outages.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • Be educated to HNC or equivalent level in project management or an engineering discipline. In lieu of formal qualifications suitable relevant experience is required in a Petrochemical / Manufacturing environment.
  • Have expert understanding of planning tools/software such as Primavera, SAP & Maximo.
  • Demonstrate planning and organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Have the ability to follow and implement company planning processes.
  • Be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Be logical, proactive and methodical when problem solving.
  • Have the ability to analyse data/information and to report recommendations and justification in the appropriate language.
  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and prepared to work flexibly.
  • Hold a strong commitment to improvement of SHE performance.
