ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Central TAR Team was established in 2021 to bring a consistent, best practice approach to INEOS O&P UK TARs at the Grangemouth complex.  With an extensive TAR Programme of £250m over the next five years, we require a TAR Preps Leader with relevant experience in turnaround management to play a key role in the delivery and support of this growth in our business.

The TAR Preparations Leader will be accountable for preparation of TAR workpacks and the TAR Execution schedule.  This role reports to the TAR Manager and will manage a team of TAR workpack planners and scheduler.

Key accountabilities

  • Collate and manage the TAR worklist for each event, ensuring all scope is challenged, and the information contained in the worklist is correct and complete.
  • Develop the final agreed scope of works for each worklist item by consulting with the appropriate asset teams.
  • Develop, lead and direct the TAR preparation team to produce detailed and fully approved TAR workpacks for each event as per INEOS standards and procedures.
  • Identify and agree milestones for key workpack supporting information i.e. blanking diagrams, Written Schemes of Examination (WSoE), design AFC packs etc.
  • Review asset plant modifications and CAPEX projects with TAR scope.
  • Prepare the TAR coordination and progress reporting systems, develop and then roll out a training plan to all relevant personnel.
  • Assist the TAR Manager in developing TAR budgets and objectives.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Have expert knowledge of TAR processes and procedures.
  • Be educated to HNC level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Have extensive experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment.
  • Have experience managing and developing individuals, teams and contractors.
  • Have an understating of systems/software such as Maximo, Credo and Primavera.
  • Demonstrate strong networking and communication skills.
  • Understand the budgeting process, service contract design and cost control measures.
  • Have a logical and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Have a strong commitment to the improvement in SHE performance.
