ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Central TAR Team was established in 2021 to bring a consistent, best practice approach to O&P TARs at the Grangemouth complex.  With an extensive TAR Programme of £250m over the next five years, we require a TAR Manager with relevant experience in turnaround management to play a key role in the delivery and support of this growth in our business.

The TAR Manager will be responsible for the preparation and execution of major turnarounds and interventions across the O&P assets at Grangemouth to meet the best in class business requirements, SHE, availability and cost targets.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop a turnaround execution strategy, which is aligned with the site Turnaround and asset maintenance procedures, to deliver the defined targets for HSE, plant integrity, reliability, cost and duration.
  • Identify resources, create and lead a combined team, using internal INEOS and direct / sub-contracting resources to deliver both the TAR Preparation and Execution phase in accordance with HSE, cost and schedule targets.
  • Create a detailed, resource levelled, TAR execution plan for planned workscope, including de-commission and re-commissioning activities and associated Project works.
  • Effective interface management and communications with a wide range of site managers to ensure alignment of the TAR with site strategic goal.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • Be a Chartered Engineer with relevant experience or have extensive experience in Maintenance, TARs and Projects.
  • Have advanced team leadership skills and behaviours.
  • Have extensive knowledge of engineering sub-contract management.
  • Demonstrate strong decision making skills, both within and out with area of expertise.
  • Be able to manage budgets and cost management systems.
  • Have working knowledge of industrial relations management and the NAECI agreement.
  • Have well established networks and contacts.

Desired:

  • Have knowledge of integrated site manufacturing operations and external logistics issues.
  • Have experience using Maximo / SAP.

Formal Interview
