FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 60 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

The TAR Manager is a key role in the Major Events (ME) Organisation within INEOS FPS.  With an extensive Major Events Programme over the coming decade, we require a TAR Manager with relevant experience in turnaround management to play a key role in the delivery of these events across our business.

The TAR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the preparation, planning, control and execution of turnarounds and interventions across the FPS assets. These will meet best in class business requirements, SHE, availability and cost targets and ensure that our events are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and implement the Major Events (turnaround/outage) 6 phase milestone plan (Strategy, Scoping, Plan & Prep, Pre-Execute, Execution, Close-Out) and embed within organization.
  • Develop and Lead Major Events Transformation programme, associated management system documents and embed within business ‘ways of working’.
  • Ensure events are fully aligned with the FPS Business & Asset Operating Strategies and underpinned by relevant Inspection, Project and CAPEX priorities.
  • Safely deliver the full Major Events 6 phase milestone plan for each Turnaround.
  • Deliver the defined targets for SHE, plant integrity, reliability, cost and duration for each Turnaround.
  • Identify and implement fully resourced & integrated teams - using direct INEOS ME personnel, secondments of personnel from other INEOS teams, and direct / sub-contracting resources to deliver all phases of each turnaround.
  • Ensure a detailed, resource levelled, TAR execution schedule for planned workscope, including de-commission and re-commissioning activities and associated Project works.
  • Implement and lead governance, steering and assurance requirements fro each turnaround.
  • Strong and effective interface management and communications with a wide range of site managers to ensure alignment of the TAR with Major Events and site strategic goals.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Be a Chartered Engineer with relevant experience or have extensive experience in Maintenance, TARs or Projects.
  • Have advanced team leadership skills and behaviours.
  • Have extensive knowledge of engineering sub-contract management.
  • Demonstrate strong decision making skills, both within and out with area of expertise.
  • Be able to build and manage budgets/cost management systems.
  • Have working knowledge of industrial relations management and the NAECI agreement.
  • Have well established networks and contacts.

You may also:

  • Have knowledge of integrated site manufacturing operations and external logistics issues.
  • Have experience using Maximo / SAP.
