TAR Maintenance E&I Supervisor - Temporary Position -

The Position:
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor for Turnaround (TAR) is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality execution of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities during the turnaround event. This role provides critical support across all site areas and production units, collaborating closely with area supervisors to maintain consistency, optimize resources, and align with technical and safety standards. The E&I Supervisor must strictly adhere to established procedures, operational discipline, and regulatory requirements to guarantee system reliability and a safe, successful plant restart following the turnaround.
What you will do:
- Compliance & SHE Leadership: Enforce adherence to the Company’s policies, ISO standards, and safety programs. Promote behavioral and process safety principles, led by example in SHE practices, and ensure all work is permitted, risk-assessed.
- Ensure proper reporting of incidents and alignment with emergency plans.
- Maintenance Budget Control: Monitor and control TAR-related E&I costs by ensuring efficient resource usage, preventing rework, and promoting cost awareness.
- Asset Integrity & Reliability: Supervise the correct execution of E&I work aligned with asset integrity and reliability standards. Coordinate inspections, validate repairs, and ensure assets are safe and documented before recommissioning.
- Work Quality & Operational Discipline: Ensure all E&I tasks follow engineering standards, procedures, and operational discipline. Support proper documentation and equipment traceability via SAP or equivalent systems.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering
Experience in general and knowledge:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience supervising electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, preferably with turnaround experience in the chemical industry.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with maintenance planning systems (SAP PM) and turnaround execution management
- Proficient in interpreting, managing, and controlling engineering drawings and technical documents related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
Competencies, Behavioral skills:
- Communication skills to effectively manage teams and ensure collaboration across departments.
- SAP (PM Module): Experienced in work order management, time confirmation, material tracking, maintenance history documentation, and cost reporting.
- Ability to enforce safety standards and promote a zero-incident culture during turnaround activities.
- Organizational skills to manage turnaround schedules, budget controls, and resource allocation.
- Skilled in reviewing, updating, and ensuring proper use of engineering drawings and documentation during maintenance and turnaround tasks.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Problem solving
- Able to perform under pressure and handle complex turnaround logistics.
