We are looking for a Talent Development Manager to join our HR team to be responsible for leading the execution of talent development strategies and initiatives, including design, development, and deployment efforts, while also evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions. This role can be based in any of our INEOS Inovyn site/office locations.
The Talent Development Manager places a high emphasis on supporting and driving achievement of Inovyn’s strategic goals by leveraging talent expertise, initiatives, tools, and techniques. The Talent Development Manager will manage the strategy and execution of competency frameworks and people development, preparing the organization for the future of work and ensuring proper integration into talent management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Leading the recruitment and hiring process to identify and bring in top talent. This involves developing recruitment strategies and ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process
- Strategic Planning:
- Lead the development of talent solutions for business functional areas
- Consult with business leaders and HR partners to understand needs and determine appropriate solutions
- Develop operating model and governance for engaging with business groups
- Identify and track key talent development metrics and assist in developing timely reports on results and trends to Senior Management.
- Leading initiatives across the Inovyn organization to build a sustainable organization including workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development and ensure these programs are aligned with the overall business objectives
- Employee Development: Designing and implementing programs for employee training and development. This may involve identifying skill gaps, creating learning opportunities, and supporting career growth within the organization
- Leadership Development: Lead initiatives to drive a high performing organization. This includes designing and implementing programs for leaders to be successful in their leadership role.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace that values and leverages the unique perspectives and experiences of all employees
- Employer Branding: Building and promoting the organization's reputation as an employer of choice. This includes managing the employer brand, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and fostering a strong organizational culture. Overall, identify initiatives in conjunction with the HR Director to continually position Inovyn as an employer of choice.
- Retention and Development: Develop and maintain programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.
- Talent Review:
- Lead the talent review process across the organization to build an internal bench of top talent.
- Research, recommend and implement best practices in talent development.
- Assess the current capabilities of talents versus the capabilities needed for the future and recommend ways to address these needs through a talent management programme.
- Construct comprehensive succession plans, taking into account business plans to build talent and leadership
- Develop a strategic talent management framework to identify, develop and retain talent.
- Develop career development strategies that build a strong local core of people to address business needs.
- Develop guiding principles with business leaders to advise on critical positions for succession planning.
- Establish career development framework, policy and programmes as a key component of employee value proposition.-
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Provide leadership on recruitment campaigns, identify talent gaps, and create strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
Skills and Experience Required
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Certification in talent management or related area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate within a matrix organisation
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align the company’s talent strategy with the overall business strategy and anticipate future talent needs
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as young graduates, recruiters, vendors
- Change Management: Ability to effectively manage change within the organization
- Talent Analytics: Ability to use data and analytics to identify trends and insights related to talent management and make data-driven decisions
