ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
A highly motivated Engineer, with experience in pre-FEED project development is required to lead the engineering team within the INEOS Grangemouth Sustainability Team. The purpose of the role is to lead the development of strategies for sustainable development at Grangemouth, including Net Zero Roadmap and Circular Economy. The post-holder will be the key interface with the operating assets, helping with the identification and development of sustainability projects within the assets. They will also manage the engineering team to deliver pre-FEED stage of identified cross-site projects, including interfaces with third parties who may locate at site.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead / SPA on Pre-FEED Studies for ranked portfolio of sustainability related projects
- Line management of the Study Leaders and Discipline Engineers.
- Owner of “ranked” portfolio of sustainability related projects for INEOS Grangemouth, including:
- Core Roadmap Projects
- OSBSL Projects
- Asset-based projects
- Primary link to procurement on Pre-Feed SoRs and bid development – Client lead for tender process and engaging selected engineering contractors.
- Drive the studies during the pre-sanction phase to provide all the necessary information to support INEOS sanction process.
- Set the Statement of Requirements (scope) for all net zero projects to meet business requirements and delivery of the net zero roadmap.
- Relationship management with external engineering companies used during the pre-sanction phase of project development on sustainability projects.
- Link to Assets for Asset-led projects, including reporting on projects through full life-cycle. This will support the Sustainability Team leading all internal / external communications on sustainability for INEOS Grangemouth
ABOUT YOU
You should:
- Have experience in the Petrochemicals, Oil/Gas, or similar industries.
- Be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent).
- Experienced in delivery of pre-FEED studies and application of robust project procedures and processes to support these.
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to identify and pursue issues to a satisfactory resolution.
- Be methodical with a strong attention to detail.
- Have considerable Process Safety knowledge
- Have the ability to manage significant uncertainty and complexity.
- Be able to manage Grangemouth wide interfaces and interdependencies.
You may also have:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create relationships with stakeholders and 3rd party specialists.
- Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team
