The key focus for the US Onshore business is to acquire, explore and develop properties to produce natural gas, oil and NGL from underground reservoirs safely and efficiently. Key operated assets are in the Eagle Ford shale basin in South Texas. With over 2,000 well producing net 36kBOE per day.

Job Title: Contracts Manager                                       Department: Supply Chain

Summary of Position
The Contracts Manager will oversee contract terms to identify potential risks or compliance issues including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), contracts in procurement/supplier contracts, purchase orders and associated terms and conditions, professional service agreements, and master service agreements. The successful candidate will collaborate across multiple departments including Legal, Operations, Business Development, Safety, Health, and Environment, and others.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage contract repository, tracking dashboards, and master data
  • Manage the tender process, including prequalification of vendors, bid evaluation, and contract award
  • Develop contract review procedures as well as other workflows and processes to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Create analytic reports and dashboards in PowerBI
  • Coordinate with business teams with validating contractual basis for potential claims/assertions and assist with presenting and negotiating resolutions
  • Work with Legal to provide guidance and direction resolving contractual or non-compliance issues across multiple business functions
  • Monitor contract performance and identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
  • Oversee all aspects of contracts, including managing amendments, change orders, and claims resolution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related program
  • 7+ years progressive experience in managing oil and gas bids/contracts.
  • Experience with process controls, continuous improvement, and digital workflows
  • Familiarity with commercial and contractual terms and conditions, regulations and requirements
  • Experience with upstream onshore oil and gas contracts for large organizations
  • Proficient skills with MS Office suite  - including document review software
  • Ability to use and perform PowerBI reporting and dashboards
  • Expertise with contract lifecycle management, process controls and digital workflows
  • Proficient in technical writing, proofreading, editing, and documentation skills;

Relocation:

Preferential treatment will be granted to candidates residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Compensation:

The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $110,000.00 - $160,00.00 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 45% of eligible pay. These ranges are estimates, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
