INEOS Enterprises has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Benefits & Compensation Specialist to join our business. This position will be located at the INEOS Enterprises US Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Job Objective
The Sr Benefits and Comp Specialist is an integral part of the INEOS Enterprises’ Human Resources Department. The position is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and 401(k) plans. In addition, the position will evaluate and analyze a wide variety of data and information related to the company compensation programs.
Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of all benefit programs while acting as liaison with the Benefits Administration TPA
- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
- Support the Annual Enrollment process as needed
- Perform audits to ensure the accuracy of benefit-related data
- Respond to internal and external data/audit requests
- Run standard reports and perform ad hoc reporting as requested
- Assist with the review/distribution of plan documents
- Support benefits accounting including the payment and allocation of benefit expenses
- Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation projects
- Work with HRIS to ensure the HR system meets benefits and compensation needs
- Support performance management and development processes for compensation
- Conduct audits to ensure proper job classification and regulatory compliance
- Other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years in Human Resources or benefits administration is preferred
- At least one year of experience with Leave of Absence Administration preferred
- Knowledge of employee benefits is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strict attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Strong research, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing/competing priorities
- Proficient with Excel (formatting, pivot tables, functions/formulas, Vlookup, etc.) and PowerPoint
