Purpose of role

The Site Procurement Manager is a member of the site Leadership Team (LT) and is accountable for overall procurement delivery at the Merak Site, Jakarta Office and for Petrochemicals Performance Unit in Indonesia. 
As the site relationship owner for Manufacturing Procurement, the Site Procurement Manager must effectively liaise between site and business leadership, Manufacturing Procurement across Asia and site end users to deliver best value to the business for all Procurement and Contracting issues.  
The Site Procurement Manager also provides direction, coaching, supervision, training and career development for site-based Procurement employees.


Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job
1.    Responsible for procurement of all spends (except PX) for Merak covering CFC, VC and Capex spend. Directly accountable for AA contract, NG, terminal and tankage contract, industrial gases supply and Palladium lease, etc. 
2.    Lead & manage Ineos Aromatics Indonesia (IAI) procurement team, establishing and communicating strategic direction, providing business context, coaching & counselling to achieve direction and meet performance target   
3.    Engage and maintain relationships within IAI Managers & LT team as well as Asia Procurement Head. 
Use this relationship to help leverage global spending, standardize process and approach.
4.    Represent Procurement on site, ensuring the procurement plan and objectives are aligned and integrated with the business plan and objectives.
5.    Ensure Compliance to procurement process including but not limited to Code of Conduct (CoC), Supplier Code of Conduct, Counter party Due Diligence (CDD), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), and reducing risk of IAI’s business associated with working with 3rd parties and cost approval process within Ineos
6.    Drive IAI procurement team to increase capability, have consistent process and leverage opportunities across the SBU through the application of Ineos common process and standards. 
7.    Represent Ineos to IAI’s Vendors/Suppliers and ensuring:
All Vendors/Suppliers are fully approved on HSE, Technical and commercial basis
All Vendors/Suppliers are compliant with Ineos’s code of conducts and IAI safety procedures and requirements. 
8.    Join regular meetings with LT, Asia Performance Review meeting for IAI
Drive the simplification in procurement process whenever appropriate by collaborating with stakeholders and implementing it.

Required Profile
•    Hold bachelor's degree or above in engineering preferably Industrial, Chemical and Mechanical, Management Economy, or Supply Chain Management
•    8+ years of working experience in procurement and manufacturing procurement. Same industry experience will be an advantage
•    At least 3 years of working experience in management position
•    Fluent in English communication and presentation
•    Professional knowledge in all procurement functions
•    Drive change pragmatically, with strong persistence and sound process to achieve the desired results
•    Result and performance oriented; strong business and commercial acumen
•    Collaborate with global and regional team effectively
•    Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
