Job Title:
Site Controller
Location:
Texas City, TX or Warrenville, IL
Role synopsis:
The Site Controller will provide direct support and analysis in Financial Planning and Accounting for the Texas City manufacturing site of INEOS Aromatics USA business, as well as leadership at the site and Warrenville, US Controller.
Accountabilities:
Accountability 1:
- Work closely with the Controller and other members of the Finance & Accounting team.
- Work directly with key stakeholders at their location and in their business area to resolve issues and questions.
Accountability 2:
- The role requires insight based on knowledge and experience to identify undefined restrictions in processes and systems and create solutions.
- Seeks to leverage technology and procedural efficiencies.
- Recognizes the need for new or modified approaches and acts ahead of need by taking strategic actions.
Accountability 3:
- Supervise and manage manufacturing month-end closing, including the following: pricing, consumption, production, inventories, yield calculation and analysis.
- Manage full cost analysis of product lines, including manufacturing variable and fixed production cost.
- Support annual budget and audit processes, and 5-year financial framework
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- CPA or MBA, desired but not required
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Refining and/or Manufacturing experience, highly preferred
Technical skills
- Understands & works through highly complex accounting & finance issues and performs work without supervision.
- Has a deep working knowledge of how SAP and other financial accounting systems and software work with strong problem solving & diagnosing skills
- Diagnoses and solves complex, rare technical or process issues, and evaluates impact on business. Is sometimes called upon by other organizations to assist in problem resolution. Provides multiple, creative alternative solutions as required.

An understanding of and consideration of priorities in other functional areas is important to properly approach those areas with the team’s needs and gain necessary commitment. The annual base salary for this position typically ranges between $134,000.00 and $201,000.00. Additionally, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as part of their total compensation package. This salary range is an estimate based on factors such as candidate qualifications, operational needs, and business performance metrics. Actual compensation may vary above or below the stated range, as permitted by applicable laws.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At INEOS Aromatics, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are carefully made based on the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
