ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
The Silo Scheduler & Third Party Coordinator controls the evacuation of the polymer product silos to ensure that there is sufficient empty silo capacity to allow the production plant to run continuously. Third party logistics service providers then move the product to pre-determined storage locations in Grangemouth and across Europe to meet customer requirements. The Silo Schedule & Third Party Coordinator works closely with those third parties and ensures standards are maintained to allow the supply chain network to run smoothly.
ABOUT YOU
You should:
- Have a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, coupled with the ability to recognise links and priorities in conflicting information.
- Be able to drive to an optimum balance where there is no perfect solution
- Be able to build and maintain good working relationships with third parties, whilst maintaining a professional relationship and protecting the commercial interests of INEOS
- Be prepared to work flexibly in a changing environment
- Have the ability and willingness to identify and implement new initiatives and alternatives to recognised problems
- Be highly motivated and customer-orientated with the ability to influence within your immediate peer group
- Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Have proven team-working ability and a commitment to delivery within a team
- Be confident in using your own initiative and have a bias for action
- Be proficient in using MS Excel
