The key focus for the US Oil & Gas business is to acquire, explore and develop properties to produce natural gas, oil and NGL from underground reservoirs safely and efficiently. Key operated assets are in the Eagle Ford shale basin in South Texas. With over 2,000 well producing net 36kBOE per day.

Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant                       Department: Accounting

Summary of Position
INEOS Energy Onshore US is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to perform various revenue functions related to our oil and gas assets in Texas.

Responsibilities

As a Revenue Accountant you willbe responsible for the following activities:

  • Distribute operated and non-operated revenue monthly.
  • Assist with monthly revenue accrual process.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly gas balancing statements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly severance tax and state royalty reports.
  • Respond to royalty owner inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with annual 1099 reporting and escheatment process.
  • Collaborate with Land, Production, and Marketing departments to resolve issues.
  • Special projects as needed including revenue and tax audits, SAP enhancements, process improvements and data requests.
  • Able to work in the corporate office full-time.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Oil and gas industry experience and familiarity with SAP/PRA software preferred.
  • Ability to work with accounting systems to understand business processes, recognize issues and suggest solutions that incorporate automation and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys working with a team and collaborating with others.

Relocation:

Preferential treatment will be granted to candidates residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to theColorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Compensation:

The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $95,000 - $144,000 withan opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 24% of eligible pay.This role, depending on skill level and experience, may also participate in the Long-Term Incentive Plan with annual awards, vesting over three years, ranging from 8-16% of stated annual target. These ranges are estimates, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
