Role and purpose:


The Credit, Cash & Financial Risk Management Team is part of Group Treasury, managing a customer portfolio and cash position. For Credit, the role coordinates with the global Credit Risk team to assess and manage customer credit risk, minimizing working capital and bad debts while supporting business with well-informed credit decisions.     
For Cash Management, the role monitors the cash position of the cash pool, ensuring adequate liquidity, cash management, bank account management, in-house bank structure, intercompany loans, cash flow forecasting, and investing available cash. 
In addition, the teams manage FX, counterparty, and interest rate risks. Regular compliance reporting to financial authorities and INEOS Group.


Main responsibilities:

•    Independently manage a customer portfolio, taking proactive steps to minimize loss
•    Skilled analysis of credit risk using multiple internal and external data sources
•    Interface with Sales & Customer Service: support order releases, overdue management, collection strategy, and insolvencies 
•    Execute treasury payments, foreign exchange, and investment transactions 
•    Manage a regional cash pool on a daily basis to ensure adequate liquidity 
•    Optimise the cash-pool structure and intercompany portfolio
•    Maintain documentation for intercompany loans
•    Identify foreign exchange exposures and manage FX transactions 
•    Take credit and investment decisions in line with policies and DoA
•    Prepare accurate liquidity forecasts based on market and internal business data, enhancing existing forecast models
•    Initiate and lead improvement projects to support automation (Treasury Management System)
•    Ensure compliance of external regulatory requirements, internal controls, policies, and procedures in the daily activities
•    Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners (critical customers, banks), managing accounts and local activities (KYC)


What do you need to succeed:

Education/Experience
•    Graduate education (Diploma, Master or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
•    5+ years of relevant job experience in Treasury and Credit Risk, preferably in a multinational corporate or financial institution
 

Skills/Competencies
•    Professional English required, all other language(s) are helpful
•    Sound analytical skills and ability to abstract
•    Able to understand and interpret financial statements and data
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy, a strong work ethic and teamwork capabilities
•    Good understanding of processes, solution oriented, and strong analytical skills 
•    SAP & Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint)
•    Ability to perform under time pressure without losing attention to details
•    Ownership of tasks and completion on time, ensuring good quality of results
•    Pro-active with strong motivation to achieve high level of performance and willingness to learn
•    Conflict resolution and negotiation
