The key focus for the US Onshore business is to acquire, explore and develop properties to produce natural gas, oil and NGL from underground reservoirs safely and efficiently. Key operated assets are in the Eagle Ford shale basin in South Texas. With over 2,000 well producing net 36kBOE per day.

Job Title: Senior Deskside Support Analyst                                                           Department: Information Technology

Summary of Position

The Senior Deskside Support Analyst is a critical frontline IT role at INEOS Energy, combining the responsibilities of a traditional Service Desk technician with that of an onsite IT office manager. This person will own the IT ticket queue, ensure high-quality support for end users, and act as the go-to technical liaison for both local and remote staff. The position offers opportunities to grow into endpoint management and network engineering.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Service Desk Ownership

  • Own and manage the IT ticket queue (FreshService, ServiceNow, or equivalent).
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT requests—interview users, capture detailed issue descriptions, and attempt first-call resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to IT engineers with well-documented tickets.
  • Provide responsive support to both local and remote users, ensuring excellent customer service and minimal disruption.

Deskside Support & IT Office Management

  • Proactively monitor and maintain conference rooms and executive collaboration spaces to prevent downtime.
  • Support the onboarding/offboarding of employees, including building and deploying Windows PCs using Microsoft Intune Autopilot.
  • Procure, distribute, and manage corporate mobile devices (iOS/Android).
  • Support and manage IT needs at remote office locations as required.
  • Configure and operate the access control system (badge system) to maintain secure entry and exit procedures.
  • Onboard and offboard users to/from the INEOS technology environment.
  • Configure and troubleshoot printers.

Growth Opportunities

  • Automation & Monitoring: Design and implement scripts or lightweight tools to proactively detect and remediate recurring IT issues.
  • Endpoint Management: Help maintain and enforce cybersecurity standards and PC configuration baselines across the organization, ensuring compliance and reducing risk.
  • Network Engineering: Assist network team in troubleshooting network anomalies, configuring switch ports, and suggesting network configuration changes.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Support, Deskside, or Service Desk role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-service mindset with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Proficiency with Windows 11 support and Dell hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune MDM and Windows Autopilot.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV hardware.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation.
  • Understanding of basic networking and VPN technologies.

Preferred

  • Experience with FreshService or another ITSM tool.
  • Exposure to access control/badge systems.
  • ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks or endpoint protection tools.

Travel & Additional Requirements:

  • Work Location: Work is performed at both field and office locations.
  • Schedule: 9/80
  • Travel required to INEOS field locations.

Compensation & Benefits

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Compensation:

The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $83,000 - $91,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 27% of eligible pay. This role, depending on skill level and experience, may also participate in the Long-Term Incentive Plan with annual awards, vesting over three years, ranging from 8-15% of stated annual target. These ranges are estimates, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
