Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business, we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

The Role
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle and successful delivery of the multiple IT project initiatives, from project scoping and planning, delivery and risk and issue management, testing and handover.
Working with a Project Manager you will help manage a cross-functional delivery team from multiple third-party agencies. Leading the digital delivery using Agile Scrum methodology, will ensure integration with the wider platform (CMS, CRM, ERP). They will also define and set up business processes and operating models to support E-commerce and OAM.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Define and maintain project plans, feed into overall, integrated programme plan
- Mobilise agile delivery teams for both initiatives, establishing Scrum delivery methodology and framework, including sprint duration and test strategy
- Establish the sprint backlogs, the list of activities for the OAM and Ecommerce teams to complete, working with relevant business stakeholders
- Ensure delivery teams are able to complete to adequate review of scope before commencing sprints, with all open questions answered by the business stakeholders
- Manage the project tasks and cross-functional delivery team of multiple third-party agencies on a day-to-day basis, carefully managing and forecasting team capacity on a sprint by sprint basis
- Run and facilitate the essential scrum meetings for cross-agency delivery team (sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint demo and retrospective)
- Increase team productivity over time, support the growth of team members and adopt agile best practices to increase efficiency per sprint, shown by reported metrics
- Present the output of each sprint in a demo to business stakeholders
- Responsible for successful delivery of digital initiatives, delivering a solution that meets the requirements of the Business Design Authority, within the guidelines set up the Technician Design Authority
- Responsible for all elements of each digital initiative including
(i) managing integration with wider platform,
(ii) preparing and executing unit, system, integration & E2E testing
(iii) ensuring all required processes defined and set-up
(iv) the business is operationally ready hand over to once delivered
- Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating to the programme manager where appropriate
- Responsible for ensuring the project outcomes are the right quality, delivered on time and on budget
- Manage and report project progress to provide full transparency on team progress
Requirements
- University Degree in computer science, science, or related area.
- Scrum Master Certification (PSM/CSM or equivalent).
- 5+ years’ experience in a Scrum team, either as team member, or as Scrum Master
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working on delivery of projects working in Agile project management methodology.
- Release/change management experience highly appreciated.
- Exposure to specific IT systems necessary (Digital systems, or ERP)
- Highly developed team spirit.
- Natural ability to make stakeholders with various backgrounds collaborate.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Stakeholder management experience, working across a range of departments and levels with the ability to negotiate with product owner to manage priorities in line with business objectives.
