The opportunity 

As the SAP FICO Analyst & Developer you will have the opportunity to join a small effective team at the start of their S/4 RISE journey implementing a Greenfield best practice system bringing across historical data in a new format, whilst demising three ECC6 systems by utilising your extensive business process knowledge and SAP functional developer experience to provide from inception of business process analysis through development, testing and delivery of solutions to the business; ensuring the appropriate systems and business processes are developed to meet the requirements of the business.

You will be hands on responsible for delivering system services, enhancements and projects which will require proactive collaboration with other business functions and 3rd parties to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Provide daily monitoring on Interfaces and Batch Jobs and rectify any issues and deliver systems services, enhancements and projects through proactive collaboration with Aromatics and Acetyls functions, 3rd parties and other IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide expertise within on the use and appropriate development of the systems and business processes, ensure they continue to meet the requirements of the businesses
  • Analyze, Assess and Document business requirements, draw functional specifications and propose ERP solutions & business processes, to ensure the systems continue to meet business requirement.
  • Develop options and recommendations for the businesses on how they can utilize SAP and related applications to the full, improving productivity or reducing business costs.
  • Deliver ERP systems enhancements (Configuration) and projects on time and within cost targets.
  • Deliver systems services and support for SAP, through proactive monitoring and collaboration with Aromatics and Acetyls business functions, 3rd parties and other Acetyls and Aromatics IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Work with support and Infrastructure partners to monitor and resolve issues on interfaces and batch jobs.
  • Constant monitoring of users’ issues raised, implementing the solutions identified and follow up to closure to achieve user satisfaction.
  • Coach / train Team Members, Super Users & users to establish good practices across the user base on a common set of system processes.
  • Systems Governance and Demand Management.
  • Project manage the delivery of projects to time, quality, and cost.

About you

Essentially the successful candidate will have business process experience within manufacturing.

SAP FI CO Process module qualifications would be preferred along with a background in a finance related business area.

You will need technical configuration experience in SAP with at least 3 full project cycles and 2 years of support.

You will be a self-motivated individual with passion for service delivery and attention to detail and you will be highly numerate & analytical.

Strong networking and influencing skills are also essential along with excellent communication skills.

This is a global role covering INEOS Acetyls and Aromatics, therefore there will be an element of travel and a requirement to work flexibly.

The role could be based in either Knightsbridge, London (UK), Lyndhurst Hampshire (UK) or Texas City (US).
