Story so far

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017,  our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle, the Fusilier.

Our Americas team have hit some huge milestones over the last few months, commencing customer deliveries of our Grenadier in the USA. We are excited to be expanding Americas region again, launching the Grenadier in Mexico and Latin America later in 2024, to enable us to make the vision a reality we are hiring our inaugural  team for the region.

Regional Sales Manager

Located in Mexico, the Regional Sales Manager has accountability for the business performance of the Mexico/Latan America region.  Working closely with the Regional Director as well as the wider USMCA (United States-Canada) team. This individual will be responsible for developing a tailored distribution strategy and implementing a network for sales in the region. They will be the spokesperson and central contact for all sales activities in the region. Providing direction to importer and dealer partners and ambassadors for the region as well as leading sales quality, sales performance (Wholesale, Retail, etc), importer and dealers network facilities Sales standards, sales customer satisfaction through NPS processes, targets, and performance in general.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop, adapt and execute innovative sales strategies for the region of responsibility in close alignment with senior leaders
  • Strategy development including: distribution channel, network development, marketing approach, fleet and pre-owned strategies
  • Research, identify and establish regional partnerships & cooperations with strategic partners fitting the Grenadier brand as part of a process to operationalise the USMCA sales strategy
  • Tracking and analysis of market data and market potential
  • Prepare business case analysis on the recommendation of market entry plans and sales channels
  • Facilitate, support, and ensure the achievement of volume targets in the region
  • Management of the INEOS owned Event Hubs in the region, including regional strategies of engagement with VIPs, journalists, and off-road clubs

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in general management as well as sales, sales planning, sales steering, and marketing within the Automotive/OEM industry 
  • A proven background in network development and insights in agency models is a bonus
  • Knowledge of innovative automotive sales strategies and trends
  • Experience with different sales formats e.g. direct sales, subscription models in a b2c and b2b environment
  • Customer-facing experience and product business development experience; bringing a creative approach and ‘out of the box’ thinking
  • Solid fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken. Fluent Portuguese is a plus
  • Automotive financial services knowledge desirable
