Regional HR Business Partner

INEOS Composites is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner to act as an HR partner to the business team of our Americas Composites team.  The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Americas.

The Americas, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, has ~500 people in US, Canada and Brazil, including 7 manufacturing sites (5 union). This position will manage the HR function in the Americas and is responsible for recruitment, retention, onboarding, employee relations and people strategy, communication, and management of HR processes.  The ability to be a cultural champion, drive change and promote safety is essential.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develops and drives Americas talent strategy
  • Lead succession planning and performance management in particular, upgrade and development of the leadership population
  • Successfully coach and counsel leaders on people and org issues
  • Champion culture and employee engagement
  • Drive labor strategy and support negotiations
  • Efficiently administers HR policies, payroll and benefit programs, ensuring conformance with relevant HR operating standards or policies and compliance federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Produce accurate monthly HR Dashboard Report for the business and respond to regular and ad hoc data requests from Group and Enterprises.
  • Lead change management in relation to integration of acquisitions and reorganization.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources or related field; HR certification and Master’s degree preferred
  • 7 years of HR generalist experience
  • Experience managing an HR team and working with a union environment
  • Experience in development, and execution of human resources strategies and initiatives, including training and development, succession planning, performance management, and compensation strategies
  • Experience assessing organizational capability to achieve business goals and designing and delivering targeted solutions to address gaps
  • Experience driving recruiting and hiring to attract top talent
  • Demonstrated HR acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience establishing, and tracking success measures to understand the effectiveness of HR performance
  • Demonstrated success in managing HR teams
  • Ability to continually improve, develop and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Change management expertise
  • Experience in chemicals or industrial industry preferred
