Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The job holder will plan and develop the applicable Q-system for the Grenadier that includes the measurement methodology, the availability of the needed equipment, the review and evaluation of capability studies and the update of internal quality standard documents for General Assembly.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Define the Quality control loops for the production in accordance with engineering department and production planning department (including necessary measurement equipment, used fixtures and gauges
- Plan the quality-demands regarding equipment, buildings, areas and headcount based on the Grenadiers requirements (especially in the project phase)
- Alignment with Production Planning, Engineering, Sales and Finance on the content of the quality demands and facilitate them
- Ensure that the QM demands are based on a minimum invest approach
- Creation of test plans together with engineering department (defines the vehicle), part purchase department (defines the bought parts), production planning (defines the factory equipment), factory quality (onsite partner) to ensure the specified product standards in series production
- Contributing to product release in cooperation with the part purchase department and the engineering department by delivering and evaluating relevant measuring results
- Close collaboration with Engineering and Sales to ensure consistent adaption of the quality planning based on the Grenadiers requirements
What we are looking for:
- Technical degree in engineering or similar studies, or vocational education with further expertise (e.g. Technician)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of quality, planning and/or measuring technology
- Experience in Quality Management and Production Technologies in the area of Automotive Industry
- Good technical understanding in automotive production
- Good knowledge of special characteristics, norms and customer requirements
- High team skills
- High empathy and very good communication skill, motivation skill and enthusiastic capacity – ability to adapt to diverse people and situations
- High organizational skills and result orientation
- Good analytical thinking
- Good English skills
- Good MS-Office
- Willingness to travel for business trips
