Story so far

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The job holder will translate, maintain and improve the current process landscape into a future proof and scalable system using the selected BPMN application. The role targets ensuring a seamless integration of all processes, a standardization of their descriptions and an automation the system’s maintenance. The QMS Specialist will help prepare INEOS’ QMS for the further planned steps (IMS, IATF,…), set up a monitoring structure to measure the performance of the INEOS’ processes as well as their application.In addition to the topics mentioned above, the job holder will act as an internal Auditor.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Managing the business:

  • Setup, maintain and optimise the processes according to ISO9001 and global quality guidelines. Support the timely implementation as well as performance of training.
  • Manage the alignment process on the interfaces between the different business units
  • Assist process owners in identifying risks and opportunities, based on their experience.
  • Coordination and realisation of internal audits according to audit plan.
  • Sign-off audits managed as lead auditor and approval of corresponding deviations
  • Identification and monitoring of opportunities/deviations, analysis using core-tools within the guidelines set up. Track the implementation of measures and validate their efficiency.
  • Support and train fellow employees supporting their buy-in to the IAMS.

Process modelling:

  • Setup, streamline and keep up to date the BPMN landscape of INEOS Automotive (end to end) in cooperation with IT and business units
  • Act as trainer for the BPMN, ensuring that all PCDs be capable to act as multipliers within their teams
  • Lead all process owners through the implementation, maintenance and improvement of their corresponding scopes
  • Support to define, maintain, and improve training concepts on QM System regarding to regulatory and Norms
  • Support to define and align with PCD, QMRD and line managers and business partners the right training needs of employees according to job descriptions.

Regulatory survey & budget:

  • Be a part of external working groups like VDA, ISO/IATF, etc., in order to keep INEOS Automotive up to date of all regulations
  • Ensure compliance in cooperation with HR/Legal when collaborating with external parties
  • Act as interface to the Legal department regarding to topics like liability, and translate into requirements for the productions and after sales and perform training to concerned people
  • Plan and manage the spend budget for the purchasing of external norms/memberships
  • Setup and maintain an overview of all membership activities in cooperation with business partner
  • Develop and implement training concepts regarding any update or changes on regulations
  • Ensure the latest version of norms are made available to and are known known by all employees
  • Further develop the application by writing user stories and tracking their implementation in regular product development reviews

Train the organization:

  • Support to define, maintain, and improve training concepts on QM System regarding to regulatory and Norms
  • Support to define and align with PCD, QMRD and line managers and business partners the right training needs of employees according to job descriptions.
  • Support and train fellow employees supporting their buy-in to the QMS.

What we are looking for:

  • an Academic Degree, if possible, with an initial Quality oriented background or additional training (Quality Management), hence familiar with Q-methods (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, 8D..), norm requirements, document control systems
  • 3-5 years’ experience gained at either a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM as an internal auditor IATF 16949 or ISO 9001
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a function having requested a good understanding of the norm requirements as well as modelling processes
  • certified internal auditor (ISO19011:2018) is a must
  • an excellent command of German and English are compulsory, French being a plus.
  • the ability to think analytically, prioritise tasks and have effective time management.
  • a strong communicator mindset, team spirit, moderator skills and be empathetic yet still convincing
  • QMB, ISO19011, VDA6.3 auditor…
  • A Project Management and/or change management certification is advantageous
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities
  • Excellent organizational, technical skills and result orientation
  • An outgoing and confident disposition with excellent team working and networking skills with peers, managers, and external contacts
  • Willingness to travel for business trips to Hambach mainly
