• Participate in PSM champion meeting as TFT member in Ulsan site
• Active leadership in contractor training an safety compliance for the site, especially as it relates to Lab contractors an calibration companies.
• Be conscious that all incidents including Near Miss at site must be reported, investigated an action items must be tracked to closure.
  • Active use of KMS for incident reporting an investigation, MOC, action item tracking.
  • Track an close all SHE related action items from audit, plant walkthroughs.
• Responsible for asset engineer in the team.
  • Contribute to INEOS Styrolution Asset Care program.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining the asset an integrity of the protective systems an interlocks.

2. Key Result Areas : Quality management system.

Major Activities :

• Document plan of ISO 9001 internal audit and propose approval to QA manager.
• Implement audit in all functions according to ISO requirements to ensure the implementation.
• Prepare report on audit results including nonconformities an observation to QA manager.
• Follow-up of the corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Evaluate the efficiency of corrective actions.
• Prepare management review according to ISO requirements an report to top management.
• Coordinate plan of ISO authority on-site inspection to ensure ISO certification.

Major Activities :

• Update QC test plan/program for raw materials, in-process samples an final products.
• Organize to work on the analysis an testing of routine samples an special samples from customer complaint/request, production problems an project samples.
• Plan competitor’s products to analyze the quality level an report on results to marketing an sales, production an development functions.
• Monitor QC test results to check optimum production an final product quality..
• Monitor maintaining an evaluating repeatability an accuracy of test equipment.

4. Key Result Areas : Quality assurance for tolling product.

Major Activities :

• Support to prepare one pager template for recipe an specification for tolling products after reviewing current recipe including pre-colored products.
• Providing one pager template to tolling companies an receiving the confirmed one with their signature an archive the signed documents for tracking.
• Review an coordinate QC test plan for raw materials (base resins an additives), in-process samples an final products.
• Monitor to work on the analysis an testing for secondary manufactured product.
• Daily QC data check for tolling products after receiving data an upload them up to LIMS system for CoA issuing at SAP-QM.
• Support to train lab staff at QC team at tolling companies to improve their analytic skills an harmonize test result with Ulsan for realization of same quality for global grades.
• Supervise maintaining an evaluating repeatability an accuracy of test equipment at tolling companies’ labs.
• Support investigation for tolling companies once there is any customer complaint.
• Execute regular audit to check their quality system, QC raw data, production line, logistics area an GMP/UL related items.

5. Key Result Areas : Non-conformance Management System.

Major Activities :

• Investigate root causes for complaints regarding quality issues an report on investigation results to managers an production an marketing & sales.
• Determine corrective actions according to investigation results with the related functions. (production, logistics, marketing & sales)
• Monitor an accelerate notification to ensure customer feedback in time.
• Monitor complaint status an report to QA manager with recommendation.

6. Key Result Areas : Provide Support to Key Strategic projects.

Major Activities :

• Prepare test items an equipment for new project Reflect the future arrangement at the current lab for the new plot plan with risk assessment an lab operation.
• Communication with site an technology group for successful implementation of the project.
• Pre-survey for quality relating requirement to meet quality expectation for new product.
• Handling QC data for trials an the retained samples
• When needed support other sites or tollers to optimize to our requirements.

Required profile:

Level of education & Knowledge:

• University graduated majored in chemistry or chemistry related.
• Fluent in written and verbal for Korean and English.

Experience in general:

• University graduated majored in chemistry or chemistry related.
• 5+ years overall experience in quality control & assurance work (multinational experience preferred).

Technical skills:

• Specific knowledge of Quality Management System.
• Good knowledge of plastics analysis for mechanical, thermal and reological properties.
• Relevant SHE knowledge to Lab operations an Lab Chemical/sample handling.
