Key Accountabilities

(Including but not limited to):

  • Support the Ineos Hygienics Quality Assurance Manager on assigned projects to achieve process assurance to overall site programme and budget. Act as delegate (within decision framework) as applicable.
  • Line management of 2 x QC lab technicians and support of 1 x QA Data Specialist.
  • Act as daily contact for operational QA activities at Aycliffe. Provide daily data for QA scorecards
  • Provide QA support for New Product Developments (NPD) to site including necessary QA set up (documentation, SAP masterdata (BOM)), trials / validations and related QA training program
  • Lead of the Site Quality System Failure (QSF) program including facilitation of RCA sessions and related CAPA activity
  • Key contributor to QA audit program- audit material suppliers as required, co-lead the Site internal health assessment program (internal audits) and support external and customer audits as applicable.
  • Ambassador for CI projects including the 8 wastes of LEAN manufacturing.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced QA Team Lead. Additionally, the following are essential requirements for the role:

  • Manufacturing experience preferably in a fast-paced FMCG. Highly desirable to have GMP (eg ISO22716) and ISO9001 experience.
  • Auditor qualification (Lead auditor desirable)
  • Excellent PC skills inc MS Office and SAP master data (desirable)
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills including Continuous improvement method application (eg. Kaizen, 5S, LEAN) ideally within QMS environment
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Continuous improvement skills
