OUR OPPORTUNITY

  • To schedule the work activities & materials that are required on the Project plan to mobilise the contractor in accordance with target dates.

Accountabilities

  • The role will support a project portfolio of 12-15 Project per annum.
  • Mobilising and supporting 30 – 40 contractors across 5 -7 Projects in the field at any one time.
  • Working with 6 Project Managers, 6 Construction Supervisors and Project planners along with KG Asset Planning & Maintenance team.
  • To review the project plans for execute phase to ensure adequate time has been allowed for contractor mobilisation.
  • Ensure PtW is prepared by CoW and work area is communicated to Asset Scheduler.
  • Confirm SIP’s coordination scheduled start dates are aligned to support main contractor start dates.
  • Monitoring mobilisation progress, (coordinating with the project planner, construction supervisor, CoW, Asset scheduler and SIP’s coordinators and contractors) and resolving challenges to maintain mobilisation start dates.
  • Attend and actively participate in project progress meetings to extract information for updating programmes & plans. 
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with project planners. Coaching project planning resource to improve sequencing and duration to mobilise field contractors.

role Requirements

  • Adapt to any changes to schedules that affect planned resource profiles to maintain mobilise start dates.
  • Be knowledgeable in Permit to Work processes & procedures.
  • Have an awareness & knowledge of Temporary Works or trained to Temporary Works Supervisor.

Qualifications, knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Scheduling & Planning environment,
  • Good level of knowledge & understanding on planning tools such as Primavera, Excel and maintenance and planning software such as SAP, Maximo, etc,
  • An understanding of stores, maintenance and project processes & procedures,
  • Understanding budgeting processes, service contract’s and project processes,
  • Disciplined planning and organisation skills together with the ability to perform under pressure,
  • Ability to interact effectively with direct multi-disciplined project teams, both Ineos and 3rd Party,
  • Strong networking & communication skills,
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and prepared to work flexibly in a changing environment
