INEOS has an exciting opportunity for an Operator join our INEOS Composites business at our Porvoo Plant (Finland) This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Manufacturing function.


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

  • Operate and maintain a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor process and equipment using various control systems.
  • Operate plant and process equipment including pumps, filters,  hoppers, drums filling station…
  • Unload raw materials from tank trucks, and load tank trucks of finished goods.
  • Bring materials (packed raw materials or finished goods) between the Process Building and the warehouses, or vice versa, as needed.
  • Charge solid raw materials into the reactors
  • Charge finished or semi-finished goods for re-work into the Blend Tanks
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
  • Maintain orderly and clean work and storage areas. Perform the assigned tasks according to the 5Ss program
  • Maintain and follow safe work standards according to company policies. Participate actively in the programs included in the Safety Strategic Plan.
  • Take the waste to the waste area. Place it at the right place in the right way.
  • Perform other duties as directed

In order to be qualified for this role, you should have the following

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing environment

  • Fork truck driver certification

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  •  Ability to understand. hazard labels, emergency response communication, product labels, etc.
  • Must have basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of high performing team
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime on short notice
  • Ability to work Shifts.
