  • INEOS Energy will acquire over 2000 wells producing net 36 kBOE/d in the Eagle Ford shale from Chesapeake, which is the INEOS entry as a material operator in the US Onshore   

Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing safe and efficient day to day production operations and optimization.  The Production manager will lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure delivery of all production related Safety, Health, Environmental, and Regulatory (SHE-R), production, and cost targets.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Working with SHE-R, facilities team, and field staff to develop, implement, and maintain personal and process safety program
  • Partnering with reservoir and finance teams to develop annual cost and production targets
  • Delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual SHE-R, production, and cost targets
  • Developing and managing systems to capture and improve all well related downtime
  • Developing and executing artificial lift strategy and plan
  • Developing organizational structure, recruiting and performance managing team members
  • Developing and managing cost management program for key spend categories
  • Developing along with executive team and managing key KPI's on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Integrating with and performance managing critical vendors
  • Developing processes and systems to minimize backlog and cycle times of down wells
  • Developing and managing root cause failure analysis program for wells to reduce repeat failures and increase time between failures
  • Managing and reporting overall field wide deferment
  • Managing TA/PA program for wells
  • Participating in field safety program

Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of management / supervisor experience
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering degree
  • Experience optimizing artificial lift systems (rod pump, gas lift, jet pump, and plunger lift)
  • Proven track record of driving improvements and profitability into the business
  • Proven track record of improving safety performance
  • Track record of implementing production and development surveillance systems
  • Ability to find, evaluate, and successfully implement technology solutions to improve safety, cost, and execution
  • Proven track record of success and problem solving
  • Ability to develop and lead high performing, multidisciplinary, technical teams
  • Experience optimizing execution and business processes
  • Passion for Innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Desire and willingness to spend regular time each month (up to 25%) in the field supporting staff and understanding how work gets done
