FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 60 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Planning & Controls Manager is a key role in the Major Events (ME) Organisation within INEOS FPS.  With an extensive Major Events Programme over the coming decade, we require a Planning & Controls Manager with extensive programme controls experience to play a key role in the delivery of these events across our business.

The Planning & Controls Manager will be responsible for all aspects of programme management activity including; planning, scheduling, SIPS, Logistics, Materials, Admin, Cost and Commercial elements of turnarounds and interventions across the FPS assets. These will meet best in class business requirements and industry standards to help ensure our events are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead and Deliver the Major Events 6 phase milestone plan (Strategy, Scoping, Plan & Prep, Pre-Execute, Execution, Close-Out) for areas of responsibility within Planning & Controls team, ensuring adherence to requirements for each phase activity set and associated milestones.
  • Lead and Deliver the requirements of each event in areas of; Workscope planning; event scheduling, SIPS, Logistics, Materials, Admin, Cost and Commercial. Ensuring adherence to requirements for each phase activity set and associated milestones.
  • Primary contact for strategic partner engagement (EPCM & SIPS). Ensuring adherence and delivery to requirements for each phase activity set and associated milestones.
  • Deliver requirements of Major Events Transformation programme, associated management system documents and embed within Planning & Controls Team.
  • Lead a fully resourced & integrated team - using direct INEOS ME personnel, secondments of personnel from other INEOS teams, and direct / sub-contracting resources to deliver requirements for each event.
  • Participate in governance, steering and assurance requirements for each turnaround.
  • Initiate intervention and re-alignment of activities where gaps have been identified.
  • Strong and effective interface management and communications with a wide range of asset stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Be an Engineer with relevant experience or have extensive experience in Operations, Maintenance, TARs and/or Project controls.
  • Have strong team leadership skills and behaviours.
  • Have extensive experience of Programme Controls (Cost Control, Commercial Control, Management of Change, Planning/Scheduling and Control Of Work processes).
  • Have extensive experience of vendor engagement, liaison and management.
  • Demonstrate strong decision making skills, both within and out with area of expertise.
  • Have well established networks and contacts.
  • Have experience using Maximo / SAP.
