ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
In this part-time role, the post-holder will provide support for delivery of the Asset Maintenance Programme and longer-term Asset strategy. You will lead on short, medium & long-term planning, risk identification and management, ownership of complex/high risk activities and work preparation quality control.
Key accountabilities
- Execute the process that plans and schedules the Polymers asset maintenance work for a rolling 3-month window.
- Deliver an agreed 2-week fully engineered and resourced plan to optimise the use of resources and deliver a productive, cost effective and safe maintenance service to the Asset.
- Plan, pre-engineer and coordinate all maintenance work for the allocated discipline including ensuring all third party Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Work packs, materials, tools/equipment and services, are available to deliver the Polymers maintenance plan.
- Monitor and drive progress to meet the schedule. Identify, address and report upon issues with the potential to effect scope, progress, quality or cost.
- Develop and plan Outage scope and support centralised TAR team to deliver TAR workscope.
- Scope and estimate all requested Ineos and contractor work, challenging as necessary prior to work commencing. Progress work authorisation via agreed processes and monitor execution to deliver a cost effective service.
- Maintain the asset work history data in the maintenance management system to enable effective planning.
- Support and coach members of the Poly team in Maximo, and the maintenance workflow process.
- Manage weekly services and materials maintenance budget allocation and provide reports on both estimated and actual Monthly spends from Maximo.
- Plan and prepare work to ensure full KPI compliance requirements and no overdue statutory items.

ABOUT YOU
You should:
- Be educated to HND/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with a time served maintenance background.
- Have good communication and organisational skills.
- Have experience in Maintenance work pack preparation, Maintenance Engineering, Facilities Management or Project Engineering in a petrochemical or related industry.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the maintenance workflow process, Maximo and scheduling tools (Primavera).
- Be proficient in computer systems such as MS Office.
- Have knowledge of heavy industry equipment e.g. Pumps, Compressors, Motors, Instrumentation, Piping, Vessels, Valves, Hoses, Tanks, etc.
- Have knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, ATEX and DSEAR requirements.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and have the ability to chair meetings and host presentations.
- Have the ability to manage multiple work packages at the same time.
