Packaging supervisor is responsible for all packaging activities in ABS 5 and 6 by supporting logistic & packaging team head.  

The role of this positon is for operation & daily maintenance responsibility of silo, bagging machine, pelletizing machine and stretch hood machines machine.

Lead all activities of 3rd party service provider for packaging area in on-site warehouse under INEOS Styrolution environmental and safety standards.

Business uncertainty makes big influence of packaging operation to meet business demand in time. Local environment and labour law is big influential factor to allocate manpower workload.

C. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job: Describe the main results expected from the job

  1. Key Result Area :

Operation and maintenance of silo and packaging machines (bagging, pelleting, stretch hood)

Major activities:

Daily operation / maintenance

Preventive maintenance

Outcome:

No machines trouble of silo and packaging machines

  1. Key Result Areas :

People management for service provider and sub-contractor

Major Activities :

- Training of work process and safety for service provider

- Upgrade work process for packing

- Improvement managing sub-contract with evaluation tool and co-work

Outcome :

Management of stable and upgrade service provider through the training for meet packaging target

  1. Key Result Areas :

SHE & QM activities

Major Activities :

- Preparation for audit (Asset care, INEOS audits)

- ISO & and other country and chemical industry regulation and transport regulation

co-ordinate for auditing

- Check and revise for the safety on the field

- Maintenance of QA & SHE documents list-up, filing, revision

- Investigation report for NCM

Outcome :

No violation of SHE rules and on-time reporting on demand

F. Required profile:

Level of education & Knowledge:

    • University graduated
    • Work experience of more than 5 years for logistic operation of equipment/facility related

Experience in general:

  • Experience or understanding preventive maintenance, or
  • Experience of production equipped with concentrated logic of how to maintain production line stabilization
  • In-depth knowledge of packaging machines
  • Has managed one or more major CI projects.

Technical skills:

  • Awareness of SCM system and business environment
  • SAP understanding and operation
  • Computer operation skill including MS Office

Competencies, Behavioral skills: (acc. to competency profile and required level of descriptions)

    • Communication skill in Chinese & English
    • SHE practices and understanding
