Main Purpose
The position is an integral part of the INEOS Joliet Commercial team. The Commercial team manages all aspects of customer service, planning, and logistics to support the production site based in Joliet, IL.
The Order Office Analyst roll will manage and be accountable for the daily inventory of both the Maleic Acid and Isophthalic Acid, as well as managing some transportation related items.
RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for daily MAN and PIA inventories
- Manage packaging supplies inventory and spend within SAP.
- Maintain and update weekly PIA packaging and MAN tank inventory runouts.
- Manage packaging schedule to meet customer demand and inventory allocation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to balance month end inventory between physical count and SAP.
- Ability to learn DOT hazardous shipping requirements to ship hazardous sample shipments by ground or air.
- Maintain DOT Certification.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve SAP errors relating to packaging or allocation
- Accountable for Order Office Administration Tasks
- These tasks are split between the order office team
- Inventory is allocated against sales orders perindividual customer’s requirements.
- Generate paperwork, bill of ladings, certificate ofanalysis and Safety Data Sheets for shipments.
- Utilize Bourque to add railcar shipments outsideof sales orders.
- Resolve railcar movements when a railroadmisroutes a railcar.
- Scan and file documents per record retention requirements.
- Accountable for Transportation Related Billing and Invoicing
- Rebill customers for railcar and truck demurrage
- Validate transportation invoices
- Work with supply chain team when invoicing is incorrect
Skills & Knowledge Required
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience;
- At least 1 year of experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably for a chemical, refinery or manufacturing facility;
- Professional knowledge of the use and application of SAP, specifically related to sales orders;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Skills/Competencies
- Demonstrated successful verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with the Plant Team and Commercial Team.
- Ability to appropriately deal with multiple & changing site priorities, including challenging situations
