What you will do:

• Manage the North American operational technology (OT) security, lead major digital control systems (DCS)and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) projects, and develop advanced process control projects for production sites. 
• Design, implement, and maintain operational technology (OT) systems including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Advanced Process Control (APC), and related automation infrastructure.
• Lead OT cybersecurity initiatives in compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and external vendors to support system upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, and network architecture.
• Provide technical support for OT-related capital projects across multiple manufacturing sites, including Safety Instrumented Systems projects.
• Support OT software applications (Including License Management in conjunction with Global IT), such as Historians (AspenTech IP21), Distributed Process Control Systems (Honeywell, ABB), Advanced Process Control (Pavilion8), SIS systems (Triconex), and Cyber Security applications (Acronis Backup, WSUS, Trellix ePO).
• Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with safety and cybersecurity protocols.
Travel (20% to 40%) to regional production facilities, suppliers and equipment manufacturers located in U.S. (TX, AL, IL, OH), Mexico, and Europe as required.

What you will bring:

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or closely related field, or foreign equivalent. 
• 2 years of experience involved with OT including process control, automation and cyber security in chemical, petrochemical, or refining industry. Experience must be with DCS platforms (e.g., Honeywell TPS), Safety Instrumented Systems (e.g Triconex), Advanced Process Control (e.g. Pavilion8) and OT cybersecurity practices.
• Industry certification in Functional Safety (e.g. TUV FS Eng, CFSE)

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At INEOS Styrolution, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are carefully made based on the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
