About the position
As Operations Manager, you hold the overall responsibility for the safe, reliable, and profitable operation of the Tyssedal plant. You will lead the operations, , organization, while driving continuous improvement in production, safety, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the Operations Departments SHE, product quality, and compliance
- Budgeting and cost control
- Ensure high production performance and support plant reliability
- Lead and develop managers and the organization
- Establish and follow up on KPIs and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Technical bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial production
- Leadership experience within operations and/or maintenance
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and technical equipment
- Experience with ISO systems and improvement methodologies is an advantage
