Story so far

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

The role

You will play a vital part in the development of electric drive technology.

Working with state of the art technologies, Steering of suppliers and working in a high agile project surrounding are only a few topics of this exciting role.

Requirements

  • Main task is to support the development of the electrical drivetrain including integration from pre-concept to life cycle management.
  • Participating in creation of design concepts of complex design scopes for Electric Drive (subsystems/modules) considering the entire development process chain.
  • Support development of driving functions, operational strategy and HV safety.
  • Provide technical support and process assistance with project stakeholder, supplier and manufacturing, as required.
  • Support performance, technology, timing and cost benchmarking.
  • Work as an active member of the Engineering team, ensure effective communication between colleagues and positive contribute to meetings and briefings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or masters degree (science, technology, engineering)
  • Previous experience working within Electric Drive or closely related degree
  • Demonstrated experience at working on engineering projects with partners
  • Able to develop and maintain the respect and trust of engineering partners and external agencies
  • Strong time management, planning and teambuilding skills
  • Capable of establishing solid, professional relationships and credibility to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Complete day to day tasks without supervision
  • Report issues in a concise and factual way to seniors with problem solutions
  • Self motivated and self driven
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in English
