Job Title: Midstream Planning Lead Department: Subsurface & Development
Summary of Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to manage our midstream strategy that will ensure economically sustainable and reliable solutions are in place to serve the upstream onshore business. As our focal point for all midstream matters impacting the upstream business, you will play a critical role in leading projects and evaluations that ensure adequate takeaway capacity for all fluid streams that offer the best value to the upstream business.
Responsibilities
- In charge of asset wide midstream oversight, with focus on proper upfront planning with subsurface, facilities and marketing departments to ensure economically and technically viable takeaway capacity is available for our development plans.
- Liaison between US upstream and marketing departments of INEOS Energy, ensuring the needs of the upstream business are met.
- Manage long term flow assurance and hydraulic modeling across various production scenarios and for distinct pads being proposed for development.
- Build, maintain and enhance midstream cost model used in development planning and for economic evaluations of specific midstream projects.
- In charge of salt water disposal (SWD) long term strategy that provides adequate produced water flow assurance and lowest economic option.
- Manage end to end SWD negotiations, contract terms and commitments
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and visual aids to communicate evaluations and analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay informed about emerging midstream markets and opportunities.
- Work in compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with onshore unconventional assets, with preferred negotiation skillset
- Familiarity with upstream and midstream oil and gas terminology
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex marketing projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
Relocation:
Preferential treatment will be granted to candidates residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
Compensation:
The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $120,000 - $181,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 27% of eligible pay. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
