Job Title: Midstream Gas and Oil Scheduler

Department: Midstream & Marketing

Summary of Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to lead our midstream scheduling activities in support of the upstream onshore business.  As a member of our Midstream & Marketing team, you will have primary responsibility for managing natural gas and crude oil flows on pipelines and trucks.  This role will have primary responsibility to aggregate, quantify, and review near term production forecasts, submit nominations via EBB’s and other means, manage pipeline imbalances, track daily production volumes, and work closely with Midstream Accounting through the invoice validation process. This individual will be part of a team that manages all operational and commercial aspects of gathering, processing, treating and transporting oil & gas to market.

Responsibilities

  • Aggregate, quantify, generate, and review production forecasts to determine gathering and processing nominations.
  • Submit timely nominations via pipeline and processor EBBs, email, and other means.
  • Adjust nominations on an as needed intra-month basis to optimize flows and manage system imbalances.
  • Monitor pipeline and processor EBBs for scheduled and unscheduled outages and maintenance.
  • Delvelop and maintain operational relationships with midstream service providers.
  • Engage across, and develop strong working relationships within INEOS to facilitate excellence in the midstream operations arena.
  • Act as liaison with operations, production accounting, and midstream accounting for pipeline statement and invoice reconciliation.
  • Manage pipeline cuts and curtailments and communicate to internal customers as appropriate.
  • Work closely with INEOS Energy Trading to provide natural gas and crude volumes available to market.
  • Develop and maintain scheduling spreadsheets for tracking nominations, imbalances and inventory.
  • Read, understand, and apply key commercial contract terms of the midstream agreements in scheduling activities.
  • Support product blending, contract reviews, and condensate sales.
  • Serve as a central contact for oil truck hauling activities, including electronic dispatch system, field operations, hauling contract administration, and invoice review.
  • Work in compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with onshore unconventional assets, with a minimum of 2 years of scheduling experience.
  • Familiarity with upstream and midstream oil and gas terminology.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and creative ability in problem solving.
  • Understanding of US natural gas intrastate, interstate and gathering pipeline scheduling / operations a plus.
  • 24x7 availability required in special circumstances including, Force Majeure events, weather curtailments, midstream outages.
  • Superior working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with programming languages (SQL, Power BI, Python), a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (0-10% anticipated).

Relocation:

Preferential treatment will be granted to candidates residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Compensation:

The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $95,000 - $101,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 40% of eligible pay. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
