Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: You will work closely alongside the Head of Marketing & Sales, the Head of Marketing Communication/PR in Head Office as well as wider Commercial team this role is expected to develop, implement and deliver the Marketing/Communications/Social Contents/PR strategy for China.
You will come up with and develop individualised approaches based on the requirements of the Chinese target markets and in line the general strategy. The role is accountable for all fields of marketing, ideally with automotive or other adjacent industry sectors with direct to consumer & or agency network experience. Experience in brand building of a new brand is highly desirable.
You will actively managing the market equation, promotion and commercial launch of each new/updated car in the China market.
Accountabilities of the job (including but not limited to):
- Adapt the global marketing strategy to fulfil the requirements of China market for the product and the brand Grenadier to start of production and beyond, consistent with brand values
- Based on prior experience, develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the Chinese media across the 4 categories of automotive, business, fashion and high-end outdoor lifestyle
- Close working relationship with the China sales manager, the regional business manager and the After-Sales manager China to develop an integrated plan for product launch
- Support the development of the INEOS corporate internal and external communications plan in China
- Manage the content quality for external communication material in China, especially through PR, digital and social channels
- Provide corporate external communication support to management and relevant internal stakeholders
- Support on the issues management
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years’ experience preferred - with BA or equivalent
- Proven involvement with national/international branding activities.
- Managed substantial budgets and ability to shift between short-term, mid-term and strategic issues
- Experience co-ordinating agencies to successfully complete multiple projects - Drives for results
- Marketing Communications and Media experience in a B2C environment.
- Automotive experience highly desirable - broader sector experience is welcome
- Up-to-date knowledge with the latest trends and commercial best practice.
- Creative with ability to think outside the box.
- Strong verbal, writing and presentation communication skills - Proficiency in English language highly desirable.
