The Position: 
The Maintenance Supervisor role will ensure proper leadership and administration of maintenance department, including it’s personnel, while ensuring asset maintenance is performed at a level of excellence and meeting safety, compliance, and operational obligations. The position is a direct report to the Bayport Polymer Maintenance & Reliability Manager and has interaction with a wide range of employees from engineering, operations, external suppliers, regulatory agencies, contractors, and peers

What you will do:
SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) Stewardship
•Meet all SHE objectives and comply with all governmental laws and policies for the Bayport ASA Plant, as well as be a leader in meeting safety and compliance expectations.
•Ensure maintenance employees are following a comprehensive SHE training program to meet OSHA requirements. 
•Assure adherence within the team to SHE reporting, incident investigation, sharing of lessons learned, corrective action tracking and personal training on Incident Command in support of the Incident Management System.
•Lead or participate as needed in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), or other risk assessments
•Facilitate and support the Management of Change (MOC) process through PHA and PSSR evaluations

Personnel Leadership
•Ensure that the proper direction, administration, and ongoing development of maintenance personnel occurs, including discipline-specific skill training to certify competency of workforce.
•Build and support an organizational culture that values continuous improvement in the areas of the safety, reliability, quality, and efficiency for the Team and the overall organization, including the profitability of the assets.
•Ensure that human resource policies are followed and the organization is in compliance with legal requirements regarding INEOS employees and our relationship with contractors.
•Establish the performance management process within the department and make sure that performance is reviewed on a periodic basis and corrective action is taken when appropriate.
 

What you will bring:
•Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Reliability or related Engineering field required; OR  an accredited Associates degree with ten (10+) or more years’ experience in industrial maintenance supervision.
AND Eight (8+) or more years’ experience in Maintenance and/or Reliability within a chemical, petrochemical, refining or industrial manufacturing environment is required.
•Prior Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Technical skills: 
•Has a working understanding of large, manufacturing equipment (rotating equipment, heaters, exchangers, tanks, etc.) including the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation aspects of such equipment
•Understands maintenance best practices and the impact of reliability on unit operations
•Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), especially SAP, is preferred.
•Experience effectively working and communicating with Microsoft Office Suite software.
•Experience with integrity assurance systems for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems is preferred.
