THE POSITION


•    Ensure plans are established which support uninterrupted production and minimize impact to operation of assets
•    Ensure all applicable plant safety regulation and SOPs are adhered to as maintenance activities are performed
•    Plan repair activities of assets and equipment
•    Procure outside resources to assist with repair activities
 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 


•    Plan corrective maintenance work orders for mechanical equipment including heat exchangers, pumps, piping, valves, and fired equipment
•    Create and maintain information records within SAP
•    Coordinate and acquire 3rd party resources required to execute maintenance projects
•    Engage with procurement to source and make available material required for both routine & corrective maintenance
•    Reduce work order backlog in planning and support scheduling activities
•    Audit PM and PPM maintenance orders for correct entry data and cost settlement information 
•    Assist in development of weekly schedule
•    Supervise and assist contract crafts and vendors as needed
•    Review and monitor Work Orders and PMs progression daily; ensure work order closure occurs for completed work with appropriate content & history
•    Provide support for project implementation and projects on material and outside vendor support
•    Assist Operations in diagnosis & repair scope for mechanical understanding and troubleshooting mechanical and instrumentation  / control issues
•    Conduct daily meetings with Operations to discuss completed work and ongoing work for each day
•    Handle notification review and approval
•    Approve invoices
•    Create, Revise, and maintain up to date BOM’s & MIDs
 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING


•    At least 5 years of maintenance-related experience in a plant OR 3 years of maintenance experience in a plant with an advanced degree
•    Knowledge of mechanical equipment in petrochemical, chemical, or refinery applications
•    Detailed knowledge of craft lines and responsibilities
•    Detailed knowledge of SAP in the areas of plant maintenance and material management
•    Knowledge of maintenance and engineering strategies and techniques.
•    Demonstrated ability to learn and appropriately apply plant policies and procedures including all safety regulations
