The Position
- Ensure plans are established which support uninterrupted production and minimize impact to operation of assets
- Ensure all applicable plant safety regulation and SOPs are adhered to as maintenance activities are performed
- Plan repair activities of assets and equipment
- Procure outside resources to assist with repair activities
What You Will Do
- Plan and Manage Maintenance: Develop corrective maintenance work orders for mechanical equipment, reduce work order backlogs, and support scheduling activities.
- Coordinate Resources: Acquire and supervise 3rd-party contractors and vendors, source materials with procurement, and ensure compliance with Management of Change processes.Monitor and Audit Maintenance:
- Review and monitor Work Orders (WOs) and PM/PPM progression daily, ensuring proper closure with accurate content and history, and audit orders for correct entry data and cost settlement.
- Optimize Preventive Maintenance: Enhance PM effectiveness, adjust frequencies for reliability, and maintain up-to-date BOMs and MIDs.
- Support Operations and Projects: Assist in troubleshooting, repair scope identification, and provide material/vendor support for project implementation.
- Maintain Records: Create and maintain accurate information records in SAP to ensure reliability and compliance.
What You Will Bring
- At least 5 years of maintenance-related experience in a plant OR 3 years of maintenance experience in a plant with an advanced degree
- Knowledge of instrumentation, motors, VFDs, transformers & associated switchgear, analyzers, and other I&E equipment in petrochemical, chemical, or refinery applications
- Detailed knowledge of craft lines and responsibilities
- Detailed knowledge of SAP in the areas of plant maintenance and material management
- Knowledge of maintenance and engineering strategies and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and appropriately apply plant policies and procedures including all safety regulations
