For our site in Lillo-Antwerp, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager. In this role, you are currently responsible for the entire maintenance department of our Polymers installation, part of our technical department.
Responsibilities
Manages the Maintenance department with a clear vision and results-oriented approach.
Stimulates a high level of safety awareness and realises continuous improvement of the HSE performance of the site, both within the team and with external partners, by ensuring the competence and efficiency of the maintenance teams.
Organises daily maintenance in close cooperation with the operational departments to guarantee maximum availability of installations.
Translates strategic business objectives into clear individual targets, KPIs and concrete action plans.
Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programmes that contribute to optimum reliability of the installation and realises measurable improvements in process safety.
Manages maintenance budgets (revex and TAR): from preparation to reporting, with a focus on cost efficiency and quality and structurally realises the set objectives.
Contributes as a technical expert or purposefully calls in external expertise where necessary.
Coaches and ensures continuous development of his/her teams and individual employees and draws up job descriptions for both direct and indirect employees.
Sets objectives and KPIs to evaluate the functioning of the organisation and make adjustments where necessary.
Develops and optimises work processes and maintenance procedures, coordinates cooperation with contractors and evaluates the services of various companies to guarantee efficiency and reliability.
Profile
With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and at least 10 years of experience in reliability and maintenance within a (petro)chemical environment, you have a deep understanding of production processes and their optimization.
You have a proven track record in continuously improving safety performance and have expertise in both static and rotating installations, as well as E&I systems.
With knowledge of spare parts management and experience in root cause analysis, you are able to effectively solve technical issues. Experience with inspection techniques and legislation is a plus.
As a people manager and team player, you lead large, diverse teams, stimulate cooperation and ensure that every employee feels supported and valued, while promoting their development to achieve joint success.
You are stress-resistant, an excellent organizer and have experience in working with social partners, where you are always able to set priorities and find the right balance.
