ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Utilities craft team and provide standby and maintenance support.

Key accountabilities

  • Cary out standby duties where Man-entry is a requirement.
  • ACO Drainage silt removal in the PowerStation basement.
  • Recording of engineering equipment and materials used during confined space repair are recorded entering and exiting the confined space, prior to maintenance handback.
  • Fire watching.
  • Degreasing and cleaning of maintenance equipment in the workshop.
  • Medium pressure water cleaning and degreasing of maintenance equipment.
  • General housekeeping of Utilities workshop:
    • Including sweeping, tidying, emptying bins.
    • Answer the workshops phone when in the area and take messages where required.
  • Carry out completion of INEOS drivers mandate checks once in role.
  • General housekeeping duties on the asset:
    • Litter picking including pipe tracks.
    • Cleaning silt from Asset drain channels.
    • Sweeping of floors inside the power station.
  • Maintenance stock replenishment.
  • Review consumable stock and provide a weekly update to the craft team leader on stock requiring re-order.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Hold a clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Have a strong commitment to improvement in SHE performance.
  • Be a good communicator.
