Function
Reporting to the Financial Analayst Europe, the employee provides support to the Europe Finance department in the scope of a merger between 2 legal entities.
Key roles and accountabilities include:
Provide support to :
- Logistic Accountants. Activities could be:
- Book the Logistic Supplier Invoices in SAP
- Monitor automatic creation of Shipment Documents and Shipment Costs Documents
- Contact suppliers to get corrective actions from suppliers as required (wrongly addressed invoices)
- Help in collecting Data for 2025 Logistic Purchase Orders Creation
- Logistic Cost analyst. Activities could be:
- Help in collecting 2025 freight rates
- Maintain Freight Databases (both Sharepoint and SAP)
- Maintain SAP Jobs settings
- Lead the call with Procurement Team to address the pending requests and set priorities
- Europe Accountant. Activities could be:
- Record Trial Balance Journal Transfer in SAP
- Financial & Logistic Controller. Activities could be:
- Attend the Project Calls and share relevant information with the team
- Coordination of activities inside the Europe Finance Department to meet the Project Deadlines
Profile
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree as a minimum
- Professional experience in a financial accounting department, preferably within the Chemicals industry is a plus.
- SAP FICO experience with project implementation experience is an asset.
Technical skills
- Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint.
- Good knowledge of English
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problem
- SAP is an asset
