The Oligomers INEOS division includes 6 manufacturing sites in Europe, United States of America and Canada. The Olefins manufactured by the Feluy site are used in the production of plastic materials, synthetic lubricants and catalysts throughout the world.

Function
Based on the updated production plan files from Planning team the postholder defines loading plans based on stock level and organize transfers and rail deliveries of finished products and resupply some of raw materials. This to keep inventories within the target limits, specifications, correct origin for smooth operations and ensure on time deliveries to customers.
He or she ensures railcars fleet follow up (availability, workshop and maintenance), improves rotation by his/her actions and follows all rail movements.
This postholder is part of the logistics team to be involved in back up role.
Some new activities can also be included into this role depending on process improvement in planning or logistics area.
Accountabilities of the job
- Ensures a constant focus on SHE when managing transport requirements, particularly when a significant change is required.
- Analyses, defines and organizes, based on updated/validated planning files and specific requests from LAO production unit like inspections and TAR including permits targets
- Raw materials to Feluy for LAO/PAO production
- Loading/unloading plans for Rail, Road
- Production planning of MP2 distillation based on PAO needs and stock level on site
- System updates and end of month inventories support
- RTC’s and Road transfers orders follow up
- Fleet allocation, organizes effective allocation of RTCs to the right product according to production, customers demand, RTC maintenance and revision
- Keeps up-dated customers specification for RTCs
- Establishes good working relationships with rail companies and railcars owners to ensure an effective response to transport needs/enquiries.
- Makes optimum use of IT tools (SAP, excel, Ovinto, LMS) for transport planning and processing, ensuring all transport is on time.
- Follows KPI’s related to Logistics rail data to help take the right decisions in the market
Required profile
- Bachelor (A1) in Logistics, Foreign trade or Marketing
- 1 or 2 years in manufacturing planning/logistics environment
- Fluent in French and English; other languages are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and practice of excel
- Strong organisational skills and proactivity
- Capable of working autonomously, with multi-tasking ability.
- Knowledge of SAP system
- Able to work in a multicultural team.
- Able to share, communicate and contribute to an effective team.
- Able to work in a dynamic and demanding environment where results matter.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
