INEOS Quattro Central team is a new team set-up in 2021 following the combination of 4 INEOS Petrochemical Businesses (INVOYN, Aromatics, Acetyls, Styrolution) together. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining financial records for 6 holdings companies and provide financial support to produce the monthly/quarterly/annual Group reporting.

As the role requires coordination with three large INEOS businesses based in different regions (America, Europe, Asia), the post holder must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively within a team without direct report line relationship. As the structure of INEOS Quattro is expected to evolve frequently due to refinancing or acquisition and disposal, the post holder must also demonstrate the ability to adapt rapidly in a minimally structured environment.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Processing a range of financial transactions into accounting system.
  • Processing of payments into bank system.
  • Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Preparation of cash forecast for Quattro Corporate entities
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting of Quattro Corporate entities
  • Assisting with completion of investor queries.
  • Assisting with preparation of periodic management accounts.
  • Assisting with preparation of quarterly investor reports.
  • Assisting with preparation of audited annual accounts.
  • Assisting with year-end and audit queries.
  • Managing intercompany loan including preparation of loan documentation.
  • Reviewing monthly withholding tax calculation from lenders and notifying HMRC on any new lenders.
  • Preparing quarterly VAT template and submitting it to our VAT service provider timely.

About you

The successful candidate can demonstrate basic accounting knowledge, i.e understanding double entry.

Candidates with at least 6 months of relevant work experience in accounting/auditing/bookkeeping will be in advantage.

This is an onsite role based in Hans Crescent working 37.5 hours per week.
