ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an IT SAP FICO Analyst (Level I) who will utilise their business process knowledge and systems experience of SAP systems to:

  • Support ERP team activities and perform routine system and administrative tasks.
  • Provide business analysis support with the support and oversight of the team lead.
  • Perform routine system and administrative tasks including routine checks, audit data provision, user creation and deletion and drafting internal controls reports.
  • Provide daily monitoring on interfaces and batch jobs and rectify any issues, seeking support from senior team members as required ensuring rectifications are correct.
  • Deliver systems services, enhancements and projects; with support and mentoring from more senior team members; through proactive collaboration with Petroineos & FPS business functions, 3rd parties and other IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide support within multiple functional areas on the use and appropriate development of the systems with the support and oversight of the team lead.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications & Experience

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred (specifically MM, SD, PM, FI, CO.).
  • Experience with ERP systems including project experience from a user perspective and documenting process.
  • Track record in change management.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Business process experience in Oil and Gas or manufacturing industry desirable.
  • SAP Interfaces Process modules qualifications desirable.

Communication

  • Strong communication, networking and influencing skills including:
    • Engaging with the ERP team regarding delivery of operational tasks.
    • Engaging with business users to clarifying business requirements.
    • Engaging with project manager to agree own work priorities to ensure one’s own availability to support project delivery to defined timescales.
    • Engaging with outsourced suppliers to resolve technical issues and communicating with end users to resolve issues.

Teamwork

  • Self-motivated individual with passion for service delivery and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously (written & verbal) and prioritise them to attain delivery.

Formal Interview
